How do Care Calls Work?

Care Calls are telephone reminder calls that are delivered to you or your loved one as needed. Care Calls are similar to Reminder Calls, but they include some special scripting that deals specifically with issues such as meal times, medication reminders, therapy reminders, doctor appointments, etc.

How much does it cost for Care Calls?

Care calls are purchased with a minute plan. Typically a Care Call will cost between 10 and 30 cents, depending on the length of the call and the response times or the called party. Care Calls are billed in 30-second increments.

What is meal time reminder?

A meal time reminder is a Care Call that simply reminds the called party that it's time to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You can select any or all of the meal times, with the same or varying scheduled for each day of the week.

What is a medication reminder?

A medication reminder reminds the called party that it's time for one or more medications. Medication reminders include optional descriptive phrases, such as "your heart pill" or "your vitamins". These reminders cab be set to recur indefinitely or to be expired when a prescription is completed. Another feature is the refill reminder that can be set for any number of days prior to the refill date.
